V-process casting production line

 

The V-process casting production line is known as the green casting of the 21st century. Many foundries have directly converted to V-process casting. The V-process casting process is as follows:

1. Select the model and place the required pattern on a hollow plate. The pattern has many ventilation holes. Under the effect of vacuum, these holes can make the plastic film adhere tightly to the pattern.

2. Film heating: Use a heater to heat and soften plastic films with high tensile rate and high plastic deformation rate. The heating temperature is generally between 80 and 120 degrees Celsius.

3. Film forming: The softened film is covered on the surface of the model. Through air holes, under a vacuum suction force of 200 to 400mmHg, the film is tightly adhered to the surface of the model.

4. Place the sand box: Put the special sand box for V-process casting on the model covered with a film.

5. Sand addition and compaction: Add dry sand with a good filling efficiency and a particle size of 100 to 200 mesh into the sand box and slightly vibrate it to compact the sand to a higher density.

6. Cover the mold: Open the pouring cup, smooth the surface of the sand layer, and cover the sand box with plastic film to seal it.

7. Demolding: The sand box is evacuated by using a film covering the surface of the V-process casting sand box, and then the mold is hardened by atmospheric pressure. When demolding, the vacuum of the negative pressure box is released, thereby eliminating the adsorption force of the template on the film. Then, the top box is demolded to complete a mold.

8. Box assembly and casting: Before box assembly, core and chill iron can be set according to process requirements. The upper and lower boxes are combined to form a mold with gates, risers and cavities, and then cast under vacuum conditions.

9. The molten iron from the electric furnace is introduced into the pouring riser, the sand box is conveyed to the shakeout area, the castings are discharged, and the sand enters the circulation system.
