The resin sand mixing machine comprises several key components: a primary conveying and stirring cage, a secondary mixing and stirring cage, a PLC electrical control system, an operational electrical control cabinet, a liquid material system (including a curing agent pump, a resin pump, and liquid material valves), an airway system, and a sand quantification system.

 

Structural features of the resin sand mixing machine

 

The resin sand mixing machine primarily consists of a low-speed conveying agitator, a high-speed mixing agitator, a base, a sand hopper, a liquid material conveying system, an air pipeline system, an electrical control operation system, and a sand quantification system. A critical component is the high-speed mixing agitator shell, which can be fully opened in both left and right directions for easy cleaning. The surfaces of the sand mixing and stirring blades are coated with wear-resistant materials. The arrangement of the sand mixing and stirring blades has a specific angle. During use, if any changes are detected, the machine should be stopped to adjust the angle. Since the resin sand mixer uses a curing agent as the hardener, and the curing agent is a weak acid with certain corrosiveness, protective measures must be taken during the addition process. The metering pump used for transporting the curing agent in the resin sand mixing machine must be resistant to strong corrosion. It is recommended to select an original imported mechanical diaphragm pump from OBL, Italy.

 

The main features of the resin sand mixer:

 

1. The double-arm continuous resin (sand) mixer is a single-sand and single-mixer type. This machine consists of a primary conveying and stirring cage and a secondary sand mixing and stirring cage. The conveying agitator cage operates at low speed for conveying, while the sand mixing agitator cage operates at high speed for mixing.

2. The mixing sand stirring cage adopts a fully open design. The hard alloy welded on the mixing sand blades has a service life exceeding 2000 hours.

3. The liquid material transportation employs Italian-imported mechanical diaphragm metering pumps for conveying the curing agent (curing agent pump) and gear pumps (equipped with stepless speed change motors) for conveying the resin. According to user requirements, all imported gear pumps can also be selected for transportation.

4. The head and tail sands of the mixed molding sand are minimal. The electrical control system utilizes imported PLC control to ensure a 100% operating rate of the machine.

5. The liquid material conveying valve (commonly referred to as the proximal control valve) can be equipped with a corrosion-resistant liquid material directional control valve (return valve). This valve ensures that the pump does not stop when the machine is shut down. When the sand mixer is working, the valve is in the working position; when it is not working, it switches to the return position; and when it resumes work, it switches back to the working position, thus solving the problem of excessive head and tail sand caused by frequent pump startups. The liquid material is sprayed into a fan-shaped mist band with the assistance of compressed air, facilitating rapid and even mixing of the binder with the sand. A reverse-blowing liquid material valve with a reverse-blowing function can also be selected.
