Resin sand production line: After pouring, the sand boxes and castings are lifted by cranes to the inertial vibration shakeout machine. After shakeout treatment, the castings are transported to the cleaning workshop, and the sand boxes are transported to the sand box warehouse for future use. Large pieces of skin are manually sorted through risers. The sand, sand clumps and small pieces of cold iron that pass through the shakeout grid fall into the magnetic separation belt conveyor. After magnetic separation, they are conveyed to the multi-functional vibrating crushing and recycling machine for crushing, demolding and screening. The sand that has been screened is sent to the No. 1 bucket elevator, where it is lifted to the secondary recycling machine of the centrifugal rotor for strong regeneration and thorough demolding. The regenerated sand mixed with fine powder, dust and resin film flows into the flow screen air separator through the flow sand channel. The air separator is connected to the cyclone dust collector and the pulse reverse blowing dust collector to remove the fine powder and dust. The secondary and secondary regeneration machines of the regenerated centrifugal rotor and the sand in the sand silo are then lifted to the sand silo by the No. 2 bucket elevator for standby. The upper feeding port of the mobile double-arm continuous resin sand mixer is connected to the lower sand outlet of the sand silo by a pneumatic gate. After pressing the sand mixing button on the electrical control box of the sand mixer, the pneumatic gate automatically opens, and the fixed amount of sand flows into the sand mixer from the sand silo. In the sand mixer, the sand is conveyed forward by the spiral blades to the starting end of the sand mixing process. The curing agent is added through the control valve at the proximal end, and the mixture is pre-mixed by the small blades and then added to the resin at the proximal valve at the back, entering the sand mixing end. After the curing agent, resin and regenerated sand are thoroughly mixed, they are sent to the front discharge port and automatically flow into the prepared sand box for molding and core making. This equipment is controlled by imported PLC(programmable controllable), featuring outstanding automation performance and is suitable for small and medium-sized foundry enterprises with resin sand processes.

 

The casting resin sand production line is an important component of the mechanization of the sand processing process and is generally composed of magnetic separation belts, sand silos, elevators, resin sand demolding machines, screening aircraft, vibrating crushers, pneumatic conveying tanks, and resin sand mixers, etc.

 

Working principle of resin sand molding production line

 

1. The old sand is transported to the sand storage by the magnetic separation belt. Under the action of centrifugal force, it is thrown towards the performance stabilization rings around. The repeated friction and collision between the sand grains and the performance stabilization rings as well as among the sand grains themselves remove the adhesive film on the surface of the sand grains. The subsequent sand falls between the performance stabilization rings and the discs. Meanwhile; The fan on the same shaft as the disc blows air upwards, creating a strong airflow that boils, air separates, removes the adhesive film and dust from the falling sand, thus obtaining sand that meets the process requirements.

2. After the old sand is treated, the content of dead clay is low, the amount of new sand added is small, the wet compressive strength of the molding sand after mixing is good, and the fluidity and air permeability are good. According to the layout of the foundry workshop, process requirements and to match different molding forms, the resin sand treatment production line can have various variations. However, the general process flow mainly consists of old sand recovery, old sand crushing and screening, old sand cooling and temperature reduction, clay and coal powder conveying, new and old sand conveying, and molding sand mixing, etc.

3. Recycling of old sand: The old sand is dropped by the shakeout machine. The scattered sand is collected in the collection hopper and then conveyed to the lower-level screening equipment through conveying equipment (vibrating conveying trough, belt conveyor, elevator, etc.). During the conveying process, the magnetic separation equipment is used to remove the total iron inclusions and iron beans in the sand.

4. The old sand is crushed and screened. The old sand conveyed is passed through screening equipment (such as fine hexagonal screens, linear sand screening machines, etc.) to break and screen the large pieces in the old sand. The large debris and sand blocks that cannot be crushed in the old sand are screened out, and at the same time, the fine powder is removed by suction.
