Molding machine

A molding machine is a casting equipment used for making sand molds. The main functions of a molding machine are: filling sand, filling loose molding sand into the sand box; Compacted molding sand, through different methods such as vibration compaction, pressing, vibration pressure, and injection pressure, the loose molding sand in the sand box is compacted to ensure that the sand mold has the necessary strength during transportation and pouring processes. Demolding involves using different mechanisms to remove the pattern from the compacted sand mold.

The molding machine is composed of components such as the machine body, the demolding mechanism, the vibration compaction mechanism, the rotating arm press head part and the pneumatic pipeline system.

1.The machine body is a solid hollow frame workpiece, with the upper part supporting the rotating arm press head section. During the pressing process, the rotating arm hooks onto the machine body, allowing the pressing force to be borne by the machine body. The machine body and the vibration mechanism are connected together with bolts. For the rotating arm press head section, the press head is fixed on a rotatable rocker arm. The press head is equipped with a screw jack that can be adjusted to the distance from the press head to the sand box according to the height of the sand box

2. The rotating arm of the molding machine is controlled by a hand-pull valve to move the piston of the oil cylinder back and forth, achieving the movement of the front arm and the rotating arm.

3. The demolding structure is composed of two demolding cylinders, connecting rods, balance shafts, demolding tables, and demolding rods, etc. When the demolding cylinders start, they drive the connecting rods, balance shafts, and demolding tables to simultaneously lift the sand box for demolding with the four ejector rods.

4. Vibration compaction structure. The spring micro-vibration pneumatic compaction structure is adopted, and the compaction shock increases the vibration. When demolding, the clamping cylinder will vibrate and lock the cylinder body. When demolding, the clamping cylinder will release.

5. Pneumatic pipeline system: The input compressed air passes through an air filter to remove water and impurities from the compressed air, and then is injected with lubricating oil through an oil mist lubricator, which is supplied to various pneumatic components and mechanisms. The operation of the molding machine is achieved by the hand-pulled valve control console.

6. Gas supply and lubrication. The molding machine operates by using air as energy and oil as lubrication. The intake pressure and the oil volume are respectively regulated by the pressure reducing valve and the oil regulating valve. When the air source passes through the oil mist lubricator, the oil is drawn into the pipeline according to the siphon principle and enters each pipeline system in a mist form for lubrication.
