The roll roughening shot blasting machine is mainly used for the shot blasting roughening treatment of steel mills' rolls. The surface shot blasting roughening of rolls is a non-contact roughening cleaning process that uses a shot blasting machine to throw high-speed shot at a long distance onto the surface of the workpiece. Therefore, this process is not restricted by the size, shape and weight of the workpiece to be cleaned. Shot blasting cleaning technology is currently a widely used, economical and reliable cleaning method internationally.
The working principle of the roller roughening shot blasting machine is to convert the kinetic energy of the shot into the impact force on the surface of the workpiece. The efficiency of shot blasting cleaning depends on the quantity, size, speed and impact direction of the shot. Therefore, the economic and technical indicators of shot blasting machines almost entirely depend on the performance of the shot blasting equipment.
The roughening of the rolls is achieved by uniformly bombarding them with shot blasting to make the working surface of the rolls used for steel rolling, which has already been ground, uniform and rough.
The working principle of the roller surface shot blasting roughening machine
After the trolley is driven into the shot blasting chamber and locked, the roller support rotates uniformly around the axis on the two bidirectional adjustable self-rotating rubber support shafts of the trolley. The shot blasting machine is installed on a reciprocating trolley on the top of the chamber to throw special shot, bombarding the working surface of the rolls, so that the working surface of the rolls can achieve the purpose of uniform roughness without destroying the original geometric accuracy.

1. To leave bullet marks on the working surface of the workpiece and achieve surface roughness, the hardness of the bombarding shot must be 10% to 20% higher than that of the working surface of the workpiece.
2. One shot blasting machine: Equipped with a 22KW shot blasting machine. The shot blasting machine is located at the top of the chamber and moves longitudinally left and right for shot blasting.
3. The maximum weight of the rolls is 5 tons, with a diameter ranging from Φ300 to 1500mm. The length of the rough surface of the roller shaft is 1550 to 2300mm, and the hardness of the rolls HSD is 91 to 95
3. The shot injection and shot circulation are all screened by the rotary vibrating screen to ensure uniform shot particle size and uniform bullet marks left on the working surface of the workpiece.
The dust generated by the shot circulation system of this machine is treated by a cartridge dust collector to ensure the dust removal effect and meet the environmental protection emission requirements.
5. In the power system of this machine: the workpiece spin motor on the table car, the reciprocating translation motor of the shot blasting machine at the top of the chamber, the shot blasting machine motor, and the vibration motor on the sorting screen all adopt variable frequency speed regulation motors. When users change the type of projectile/workpiece, by adjusting the rotational speeds of the motors at the above four parts respectively, the performance ratio of this machine can meet the strong adaptability requirements

The mechanical part of the roller roughening shot blasting machine
1. The roller shaft surface shot blasting and roughening machine is a specialized equipment designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of numerous steel plate production. It is used for shot blasting roughening of a given part of the roller surface to achieve the required uniform roughness.
2. A dedicated curved shot blasting machine is adopted, with a shot blasting capacity of 250-400 kg /min, equipped with a motor with a power of 22 kW.
3. Considering the specific characteristics of the roughened parts, the special carrying trolley for the roughened shot blasting machine of the rolls carries the rolls, which are supported by four rubber-coated or polyurethane rollers on the shaft shoulder of the roughened rolls. During the shot blasting roughening process, the entire roller shaft is protected by high-chromium wear-resistant cast iron guard plates, high-manganese steel guard plates, rubber plates, polyurethane rubber plates, etc., except for the required roughening parts, to ensure that only the required parts are roughened by the impact of shot blasting.
4. The roller system drives the idlers to rise and fall and rotate by themselves, so as to clean rollers of different specifications and achieve the best roughening effect.
