The core components of the shot blasting machine include the housing, top cover, impeller (which can be either single or double), blades (which can be straight or curved), the rotor assembly (comprising the impeller and blades), shot distribution wheel, directional sleeve, main shaft, and shot inlet pipe. The shot distribution wheel is mounted on the main shaft and rotates in unison with the rotor assembly, while the directional sleeve is fixed to the shield body via a combination plate. Rotating the directional sleeve allows adjustment of the projectile's ejection direction. The size of the directional sleeve window determines the radial scattering angle of the projectile, which is typically around 60°.

 

The transmission mechanism of the shot blasting device is generally categorized into two types

 

1. Directly coupled to the motor: This type of shot blasting machine lacks a bearing housing and features direct coupling between the motor and the shot blasting machine. Its advantages include a compact structure and suitability for applications with limited installation space.
2. Belt-driven: This type of shot blasting machine includes a bearing housing and employs a V-belt to connect the motor to the shot blasting machine. Typically, the pulley diameter on the motor side is larger, while that on the shot blasting machine side is smaller, enabling accelerated transmission.

The shot blasting machine is designed for easy and rapid installation and disassembly. For instance, the blades of the linear blade shot blasting machine are inserted into the center of the rotor assembly. During operation, the blades are secured by centrifugal force, eliminating the need for additional fixing devices. Disassembling eight blades takes approximately 10 to 20 minutes.
The shot blasting machine is a critical component of the overall system. Its quality directly impacts the cleaning efficiency and operational stability of the entire shot blasting process.
