Gas cylinder manufacturers often face challenges due to the lengthy production lines for seamless gas cylinders. If a single piece of equipment on the production line malfunctions, it can disrupt the entire process, causing semi-finished gas cylinders upstream of the faulty equipment to accumulate and hinder production progress. This issue is particularly critical in heat treatment processes, which are major energy consumers. A halt in production due to such malfunctions can lead to significant increases in energy consumption and production costs.

To address this challenge, our company has developed a gas cylinder palletizing robot designed as a backup solution for workshops. In the event of equipment failure, this robot can be swiftly deployed to the front end of the malfunctioning equipment. It efficiently removes the accumulated semi-finished gas cylinders from the assembly line for temporary storage, ensuring that production can resume promptly once the equipment is repaired.

The gas cylinder palletizing robot utilizes electromagnets for transporting gas cylinders. Its lateral and vertical movements are precisely controlled by servo motors. By inputting the diameter parameter of the gas cylinder via the touchscreen interface of the electrical control cabinet, the robot automatically calculates the required movement distances for both horizontal and vertical axes, enabling accurate and efficient palletizing operations.
