I. Core Function
The flanged pipe shot blasting machine is a continuous operation style for the assembly line. It transports the flanged pipes through the conveyor belt and combines multiple-angle arranged shot blasting devices. During the movement of the flanges, the multi-angle shot blasting devices strike the inner and outer arcs, as well as the corners of the flanges, specifically addressing the problem of dead corners that exist in the cleaning process of ordinary shot blasting machines. Thus, it thoroughly removes rust and oxide scales.
It removes the oxide scales, rust, welding slag, oil stains, and corrosion layers generated during the bending process of the flanges. The inner side of the arc and the welding corner of the flanges can be cleaned completely. The cleaning grade can reach Sa2.0-2.5, meeting the high standards of anti-corrosion requirements.
The flanged pipe shot blasting machine generates uniform surface roughness, ensuring the adhesion of the anti-corrosion coating.
The high-speed steel balls impact the surface of the flanges to form uniform and fine concave and convex roughness. Subsequent epoxy coatings, asphalt anti-corrosion, painting, galvanization, polyurethane anti-corrosion layers can firmly adhere, preventing peeling and detachment, significantly extending the service life of buried and outdoor pipelines with flanged heads.
It eliminates residual stress in the bent pipes and prevents deformation and cracking in the later stages.
After the steel pipe is bent, there is residual bending stress inside. The shot blasting of the bent pipe shot blasting machine generates surface compressive stress, which cancels out the residual tensile stress, avoiding deformation and cracking of the flanges during storage and outdoor use, and enhancing the fatigue resistance of thermal pipelines and high-pressure gas pipe flanges.
It exposes surface defects, facilitating quality inspection and screening.
After removing the rust layer and oxide scale, fine cracks, folds, welding pores, and sand holes on the surface of the flanges are all exposed, making it convenient for subsequent flaw detection and inspection, and eliminating defective pipe pieces in advance to avoid leakage and burst risks in the pipeline network.
It replaces acid washing and manual grinding, is environmentally friendly and mass-produced.
It is equipped with a pulse dust collection system, which collects the dust centrally, without acid washing wastewater pollution; the steel balls are recycled in a closed loop, with low loss. The automated continuous production ensures efficiency far exceeding manual sandblasting and grinding, saving labor.
Surface strengthening and wear resistance
A strengthening layer is formed on the surface of the flange, enhancing wear resistance, anti-corrosion, and stress corrosion resistance, mainly used for the pre-treatment of wear-resistant flanges for transporting slurries, sewage, and high-temperature media.
